Normally business\u2019 prefer to have their business name for a domain, if its available. However, it is recommended that you should have a keyword domain name for a better chance of ranking high on Google. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take the example of Hotels.com. It ranks higher compared to most of its competitors only on account that the domain has the keyword \u201chotels\u201d. But don\u2019t worry if you cannot get a keyword rich domain. Don\u2019t try to get a long keyword domain just for the sake of having a keyword rich domain. Remember, it should be memorable as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what can you do? All you need to do is to have the keyword in your page URL. If you are trying to rank your page abc.com for Red Canvas Shoes, then your page URL should look something like abc.com\/red-canvas-shoes. This is your first step towards a better search ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you have the money to go for a memorable keyword domain, by all means, go for it.
